The JFR Training Team

The JFR Training Team are all seasoned professionals, with a wealth of experience in their chosen field.

They work collaboratively with colleagues and clients alike seeking out and developing training solutions to increase performance.

All members of the team are both theoreticians and practitioners, forming, developing, or studying the theoretical framework of a subject as well as being actively engaged in the transition from theory into practice, the practical application of specific skills.

Jamie Johnson

Co-Founder

Jamie has worked in the UK, Mainland Europe, Middle East and USA for a wide variety of ‘Blue-Chip’ organisations working primarily on assisting organisations improve sales performance.

Prior to co-founding JFR Training, over 30 years ago, Jamie was a Management Consultant for the world’s largest specialist sales training organisations.

Jamie has a BSc (Hons) Economics from Loughborough University of Technology, has been admitted to the Register of Certificated Users and the Roll of Advanced Practitioners for the Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory (KAI) by the Occupational Research Centre and is a Licensed Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Michael Rudkin

A Co-Founder of JFR Training, Michael specialises in Sales & Customer Service and Leadership & Management Development training.

Michael’s clients’ markets range from trade fairs to industrial automation, from magazines to agricultural equipment.

His philosophy is that leaders must motivate; sellers must motivate as should a custom service team. Training must certainly motivate; this is central to Michael’s approach to diagnosis, design and delivery… and follow up.

Michael has an M.A. in English Literature from Cambridge: has worked across mainland Europe (from Helsinki to Rome; from Milan to Dublin) and the UK.

Mike Mister

Mike has worked in the UK and internationally in China, India, South Africa, Canada, Argentina, Australia, USA and across Europe for a wide variety of ‘Blue-Chip’ organisations, working primarily on assisting executives to improve business performance.

In his last major ‘corporate’ role Mike was Global Director for Executive Development at EY Global (formerly Ernst & Young Global).

Mike has an MBA, a degree in Psychology and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in the UK. He is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society and an Associate by qualification of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (London Institute of Banking and Finance) in the UK.

Mike co-authored ‘How to Lead Smart People’ published by Profile Books in March 2019.

Samia has over 25 years’ experience in business psychology (MSc) and leadership coaching (PCC) having worked in leading management consultancies (SHL, PwC and IBM), blue chip and government organisations, and with private clients.

Jeff Downs

Jeff has worked with UK-based organisations of all sizes ranging from micro-businesses through to multi-national organisations helping them to improve sales performance. His focus is behavioural change in selling operations and making sure that programmes are designed and sequenced to drive the change process.

As well as operating as a consultant, trainer and a coach Jeff regularly fulfils Sales Director roles for a number of clients in diverse sectors.

Jeff has a comprehensive knowledge of business and leadership but his main attribute is his ability to lead and motivate people at an individual and team level.

Andy Giles

Andy has worked in the UK and internationally in Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Tanzania, Iraq, UAE, Mexico, Argentina, USA and across Europe for a wide number of organisations, primarily in the field of leadership and talent development.

In his corporate career Andy has held Head of L&D/HR roles in the Forensic Science Service and the NHS.

A Chemistry graduate originally, he is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Training Management, is qualified in a range of psychometric instruments and accredited by the British Psychological Society.

Anita Chanda

Anita has worked in the UK and internationally in Singapore, Almaty, Cape Town, Cairo, across European and Indian cities, working with a wide range of professionals from nuclear scientists, bankers, medical professionals to hospitality staff. She is particularly interested in facilitating Divergent Thinking and coaching individuals to be achieve their best self.

In her former corporate life Anita was an Associate HR Director at Capel Cure Myers which went through several mergers and is now part of Barclays Wealth Management.

Anita is an accredited Executive Coach from the Association of Coaching UK. She is qualified in a range of psychometric instruments including the International Readiness Check which assesses intercultural sensitivity. Anita exemplifies life-long learning. She has just gained a MA in Art and Science from Central Saint Martins. Her other MA was gained many years ago in Strategic Human Resource Management. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in the UK.

Phil McCormack

Business Development and Customer Relationship Management

Previously 6 years in the NGO fundraising sector and more recently working with Civil Engineering, Aviation and Renewable Energy companies on their project management and risk and opportunities management.

Currently teaching and lecturing at Toulouse Business School on the Bachelor and Masters’ Program which includes the following: Project Management, Customer Relationship Management, Business Development, Soft Skills and Cause Related Marketing.

Phil has a BA in Art History from the University of East Anglia and is a Qualified Member of the Chartered Body for the Association of Project Management (APM).

Mitch is passionate about development and a firm believer that to truly develop more effective skills we need to focus on the impact that we have, for which we first need to understand ourselves.

Trained in classic leadership and change management theory but always intrigued by new ideas Mitch loves to find ways to bring that knowledge to life in increasingly collaborative and innovative ways. Experienced in delivering complex, multifunctional and multi-cultural environments and combining real business knowledge with a hands-on approach to coaching, training and mentoring.

He holds an MA in Change Management and is trained in business research, coaching and NLP. He had a corporate career within the insurance industry and has facilitated programmes for a wide variety of clients in different industries all over the world.
